Say whats good to BK's own Hiroller.......Yo Money is dope theres no other way to say it.His slick flow and delivery is definitely what is missing in hip hop today.his approach to the game is refreshing and sincere.I caught up with him for a lil Q&A Stricklee style and here what went down.YOUR WELCOM..........YOUR ALL WELCOME


1.FOR THOSE THAT DONT KNOW WHAT LABEL OR GROUP ARE YOU SIGNED TO PRESENTLY?

I am currently unsigned, but I do have an independent label Pocket Change Entertainment that I am Co-Ceo of along with my partner Legacy. I plan to carry this thing with me forever even if I'm approached by major labels etc. I will always represent Pocket Change.

2.HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT TODAYS HIP HOP,AND WHEN I SAY THAT I MEAN IT ALL THE HOT SHIT THE WACK SHIT....HIP HOP AS A WHOLE AND ITS DIRECTION?

I feel like Hip-Hop is in a great space musicially especially now with the internet and the blogs. The are a lot of new artists with different styles and sounds. It reminds me of the early 90s and that's my favorite era. Even the ringtone type stuff has its place but I feel like that type of music is over promoted by labels to make money and that's wack. What happens then is you get no variation on tv and radio but hey once I have my macbook I could find new shit all day on the net.

3.AS A UPCOMING ARTIST IN THE GAME,IS IT HARDER FOR YOU TO GAIN NEW FANS WITH THE SHIFT IN HIP HOP GOING FROM SKILLZ TO GIMMICKS?

I feel like its not hard to gain a fan if you have skills. The problem is getting people to listen. It's so many rappers that are not ready to do this that are trying to do this. So when you listen to so many failed attempts so to speak you kinda get jaded as a fan of good music. So a new artist such as myself who has the skills to make it gets overlooked most of the time.

4.HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT MIXTAPES?

I feel like mixtapes are great promotional tools but the album sounding artist mixtapes aren't the best idea. Most of the time you get the album and wonder why they didn't put that joint from the mixtape you loved on the album. I think artist mixtapes should revolve around the traditional industry beat freestyle type of format. This way your mixtape sounds like a mixtape and your album sounds like your album. There is almost no difference nowadays. Why would I buy your album if it sounds worse than your free shit.

5.DO YOU THINK,THE INTERNET IS DESTROYING HIP HOP,LIKE MANY PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT?

The internet isn't killing Hip-Hop. The internet is changing money in Hip-hop. You got people that don't buy a cd because they can download it for free. So what happens is the rappers don't make a ton of money off of record sales anymore. As far as the actual music though there are numerous options at your finger tips because of the internet and that's where the internet is great.

6.HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WHERE YOUR AT IN YOUR CAREER THUS FAR,AND WHERE TO YOU
ULTIMATELY WANT TO TAKE IT?

I feel like I've been here just practicing all this time. My hood loves me but your hood never heard of me. So at this point I'm new on the scene but I don't quite sound like that. Typically the thing I hear is how come I never heard of you because my approach and talent level is like that of someone who has put out tons of albums already. So right now I'm trying to get some recognition and I'm very confident that will come really fast for me. Ultimately I wanna make a career out of this music I do and force my mom's to retire and travel, she deserve's it.

7.FAV. BIGGIE JOINT AND WHY?

He's my favorite rapper of all time so this one is easy. "Your nobody til somebody kills you" because it just puts me in a space that no other song can. It has the most plays on my ipod at this moment and probably will for a long time. The lyrics are stellar, the drum track is gutter, the strings are crazy its just the perfect marriage of beat and rhyme. Shit I'm having trouble explaining its just that joint for me.

8.FAV. TUPAC JOINT AND WHY?

My favorite tupac song is "so many tears" because there's this horn sample in there you just don't forget. I love this song for that. Another thing is it has one of my favorite lines of all time "Every move is a calculated step". I swear I live by that line. Everything I do is planned and thought thru thoroughly so that line is me in a nutshell.

9.SANNA LATHAN OR NIA LONG AND WHY?

Damn I dunno it depends on the movie. I remember going to see "Brown Sugar" at the movies and the girl I went with catching me drooling lookin atSanaa Lathan but if we talkin about another movie like "The Best Man" Nia all the way and both of them were in that. Shit can I choose them both.

10.BALD , BUSH ,OR NEATLY TRIMMED?

LOL..it don't matter to me once she aint sitting on litter or in non-roller slang once the pussy aint trash.

14.WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM YOU IN THE FUTURE?

Besides "The Premonition" mixtape which drops today. I'm working on an album that I will release for free download later this year and I will be constantly putting out music until then. The work will not stop. I'm here with big time goals.
